Cypress support

https://www.cypress.io/

Cypress is an excellent testing tool.  Our developers are using it and have found it to be superior to Selenium in most respects.  We are currently using Sauce Labs to execute our Selenium (Protractor JS) scripts, however we are transitioning away from Protractor in favor of Cypress.  Adding support for Cypress would allow us to keep using Sauce Labs.

Since now a days its a very popular tool to do automation testing. Hence it will be great to have Cypress.io integrated with SauceLabs

Cypress seems to be a great tool for our QA team as well... its fast, easy to understand and also very easy to develop and maintain. I am looking to move my team from selenium to cypress. please add support for cypress

Does Cypress can be integrated with Saucelabs now? if yes is there any doumentation like how to set up, how to integrate, how to run and all?

Why? This seems like such a terrible idea.
Since Cypress is built with JavaScript, there are lots of scenarios that do not work with it, but work with Selenium.
For example, you cannot perform a file upload in your test.
I would just use Endtest instead.

This idea is most popular among all ideas in https://saucelabs.ideas.aha.io/?sort=popular. Yet this is in "needs review" stage since at least 3 months. Can anyone please confirm the priority for this?

Cypress is a great unit & e2e testing tool but because it on supports limited browser support it could be a great integration with Saucelabs for improved regression & functional testing across platforms & devices
