Sauce Labs Customer Idea Portal

I would like to request for consideration supporting the playing of the audio portion of a video launched from a browser during manual testing.

We are using SauceLabs to manually test Browser/OS combinations we do not have access to in-house.  Currently when launched, we see the video but cannot verify the audio.  This missing functionality is preventing our certification of supported configurations.

I also have requirements where I have to verify audio on a page. Please implement this feature.

I'd be content with basic "yes, there is audio" detected. Locally, I can achieve this in a roundabout way using sox but it would be super valuable to have some semblance of audio detection via SauceLabs.

We would also like this feature in order to be able to test audio playback.

For my needs, I'd like to see the user's microphone be able to be tested.

    Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback and comments on the audio support. We are actively evaluating audio support on automated as well as manual testing.

The tests do not play the audio back  on firefox and chrome browsers due to audio drivers unavailable.

I have a similar issue. I want to verify that an audio control loads successfully, but it fails in IE because no audio driver is available. See
