Increase Memory on VMs

There are a number of VMs that have around 1 GB of memory.  Some of the tests that run on those VMs fail with a Out of Memory error whereas tests that run on other VMs that have around ~2 GB of memory work fine.  Is it possible to have the memory increased on the VMs that have low memory?
