Enable camera in emulators, and pre-populate gallery with images

At our company we've been making extensive use of Appium locally to test our Android and iOS apps but while making the transition to saucelabs we've hit a pretty big bump.  Our app's core product makes extensive use of images and we cannot find a useable way to provide images for our app to use.

Normally we just boot the camera app and take a number of photos on a fresh virtual device, however we've found the Android Emulator devices on sauce do not appear to have the virtual camera enabled (it crashes as soon as you enter the camera app).  We've seen some other devices on sauce that do have the virtual camera enabled (Samsung Galaxy Emulator 4.4 has it for instance) but these are not yet updated to 5.1 and seem to have issues with our app installed (saying it has insufficient disk space).

If we could enable the virtual camera or find some other way to upload photos directly into the gallery that would make us capable of running our appium tests on sauce.

+ 1. Or at least add some default images to the camera folder.

Ability to take photos and having pre-loaded images in gallery would be pretty awesome

+1 for a dummy camera in the emulators
